I bought these to share back at the dorms, then was surprised to find out that they were filled with actual apple bourbon. Strong stuff.

Hah, forgot about this thing. I know there are probably a few of you still using this to check in on me. Rest assured, I have not fallen off the face of the earth; gravity has seen to that. And , yes, I have contacted Phil and made arrangements to hit Tokyo and hopefully Kyoto next month over his birthday.

Otherwise, not much to report. Chera got my care-package (before Valentines, so she definitely had candy, woo!), and my little owl is about a quarter of the planet's circumference away from being renamed Amelia Magellan (yay ^_^). I have become something of a night-owl myself, though I'm slowly working towards joining the throng of daylight lurkers.

It is very quiet. All the Korean students have gone; Heiu and Leon leave before the end of the month. One of my roommates (Baku) and Sai are in Tokyo atmo, and I'm not sure when they're returning to their countries. Adam is leaving in the morning to spend a few weeks back in the States. And Mike, uh, apparently got arrested for hitchhiking on the highway while on his way to Tokyo. So I just heard over dinner. He should be fine though....

Angelo's host dad and a bunch of other people came by for a visit and a nice Philippine-style dinner. And joy of joys, host dad brought jelly beans! The fancy kind too, with all those different flavors (mmmm).

It snowed again today. Cooooooooold.

Lot's of people are leaving now or have already left; sad to see them go. Soon we'll start getting new arrivals, a few from Europe this time, I hear.

Cripes! I still need to call Phil. @_@
